Ok you guys. I hadn’t been to Wadley farms since the renovation and wow wow wow I am shooketh.
Wadley farms is a wedding venue near pleasant grove, utah (located in Lindon & literally 5 minutes from my house), with various looks for your dream wedding. They have a gorgeous castle venue, with balconies, bride and groom suites, everything you could imagine. Like, you gotta be kidding me, right? This bridal gown with a high slit is everything.
Utah macaron made these macarons and I have to say, first, why is it so hard to make macarons?? And second, how has she perfected macarons to look this good and taste so amazing?! UNREAL you guys.
This couple was so fun and had the perfect balance of fun, romantic, sexy, and genuine. They made my job easy. They also didn’t feel like the typical utah couple getting married. (Nothing against typical utah couples or brides)…
I have more to share that I’ll add soon!
But gorgeous, right?! I would love to photograph more couples there. So if you’re looking for a wedding photographer in pleasant grove, Utah, I’m your girl.

You fell in love.
You got the ring.
You’re ready to seal the deal.
BUT WHERE?!?!
Here I list the top 6 venues to have your wedding in Utah.
And if we’re being honest, this started as a top 10 list, but honestly, these are my absolute all time faves. If you’d like more information on any of these venues, or recommendations for other venues that might be up your alley, feel free to reach out!
Holy bananas. The Wild Oak is everything you could ask for in a wedding venue. It’s modern, has the moody but also “natural” vibe. The dressing rooms are to die for and photograph so well. The bar service, the food service, I could go on and on. The Wild Oak is just perfection. You can find The Wild Oak wedding venue in Lindon, Utah, within Utah county.
2. The Foundry
Coming in 2nd place is The Foundry. Modern, chic, and just plain gorgeous. This wedding venue is located in Uintah, Utah. The Foundry is on trend with its included decor, is similar to The Wild Oak in it’s feel, with a groom’s room and a bride’s room for getting ready (a must for amazing photos).
3. The White Shanty
Located in Provo, Utah, The White Shanty is another modern and open wedding venue with plenty of natural light. It is a dream to photograph weddings here. You’ve seen the doors. You’ve wondered where this majestic place was. Well friends, it’s a happy place in a happy city, and you can have your wedding there and get your OWN photos in front of their amazing mirrored barn doors.
4. Awaken Event Center (specifically the patio terrace)
Awaken Event Center used to be known as Noah’s event center. I’m obsessed with their outdoor patio terrace, which casts gorgeous even light morning to night and makes stunning photos a breeze. The patio terrace allows you to have your wedding as well as reception in a gorgeous setting with a natural feel. I’m surprised this patio terrace isn’t talked about more. It is EVERYTHING.
5. Arches National Park
An outdoor wedding or elopement in Arches National Park in Moab? Yes please. Arches is a gorgeous place for a wedding. There are important things you need to know about getting married in Arches, such as getting a permit, leaving no trace, and what areas are allowed for a wedding. But it truly is a breathtaking place for a wedding, ranking it 6th on best wedding venues in Utah.
6. Deadhorse Point
Similar to Arches National Park in Moab, Deadhorse Point is on the border of Utah and Arizona, and has stunning scenery for your wedding or elopement. Deadhorse Point is similar to Arches— you’ll need a permit to have a wedding there, will want to make sure to leave no trace, and follow any rules the park has in place. Deadhorse Point is especially popular for elopements and ranks #1 as the best place to elope in Utah or are having a small wedding with under 25 guests.
All 6 of these venues could give you a perfectly boho wedding vibe, or a classic wedding feel, or even artistic and moody. Your decor and dress and colors will tie everything together no matter which venue you choose. The most important things for your wedding are time of day, who you choose to photograph the event, and I guess who you choose to marry is important too.
Now, these are not the only venues I’ve photographed weddings at. In fact, several of my weddings have been at specific locations that were absolutely beautiful, but just didn’t have the oomph to make it to this list. These venues will make your day the most stress free, give you incredible photos any time of year, and give you the most bang for your buck. If you’re curious about other venues I’ve loved that didn’t make it, I’m happy to share them with you. Just know if you want the best wedding photos, these take the cake.
Note that I specifically did NOT include images of these venues because I want you to check out each and every one on your own and see if it’s right for you.
And ps: If you need a photographer, I’ll be an email, text, or call away ;)
